Due to one of our kaiako taking a year's leave, we are looking for an outstanding teacher to join our team to work as part of the Te Korowai Whakamana Māori Medium pathway, teaching in either the Tau 2–3 or Tau 4–6 class.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is proficient in te reo Māori me ōna tikanga, and acknowledges the kawa of Ngāti Raukawa ki te tonga under which our kura sits
  • Is able to build strong relationships with ākonga and their whānau
  • Has a passion for turning our learners of today into leaders of tomorrow
  • Has a sense of fun and creativity
  • Is highly collaborative
  • Is able and/or confident in working in a 1:1 Chromebook class if in the Tau 4–6 akomanga. This is not required for the Tau 2–3 akomanga. PD will be given to support you in this area.
