Assistant centre manager
About Educare Bream Bay:
We are a coastal centre with one whare split in two for Nga Pepe (U2 pepe) and Nga Kiwi (O2 tamariki).
From the minute you arrive at Educare Bream Bay, you feel a sense of belonging. Kaiako and tamariki embrace a culture of manaaki; where you will be shown aroha as we learn and respect each other's ways of knowing, being and doing. You will be celebrated for your successes.
We believe in embracing the local whakapapa as our guiding curriculum; we are kaitiaki of Manaia – Te Maunga, Terenga Paraoa – te Moana, te whenua me te iwi and this is evident through our involvement with the community, our te Tiriti based practice, our love for te reo Māori and our amazingly creative natural environment.
Educare offers opportunities for professional growth, development and leadership with our 20 sister centres. You will have the opportunity to learn how to run a business. We pride ourselves on growing business savvy centre managers who know the ins and outs of running a successful centre with the support of our senior leadership team.
You are an experienced teacher ready to take the next step in your leadership career, or an experienced leader looking for a new centre to call home.
You will be a natural trailblazer who can guide and inspire others, have a passion for delivering a high quality of education and care, and enjoy creating whanaungatanga with kaiako, tamariki and whānau.
If you are excited about sharing your unique strengths and learning alongside an innovative and dedicated team of kaiako, then this is the place for you.
