We have an exciting opportunity for a kaiako to join our team in Matatā.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week.

About us:

We are a small mixed-age centre, which means that our tamariki are all in the same learning space. Our tamariki learn alongside and with each other in a child-led, play-based, well-resourced learning environment.

Our centre prides itself in being a warm and inviting space where relationships and whakawhanaungatanga are the corner stones of our practice. We are passionate about creating spaces that are well thought out, and enrich the learning experiences of our tamariki.

Our centre is operated by Central Kids Early Education, who manage 57 other kindergartens and early learning centres throughout the central North Island.

Central Kids provide:

  • A commitment to putting children at the heart to all that we do – Ko ngā tamariki te pūtake
  • A commitment to upholding our obligations as partners of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • A commitment to Rautaki Ahurea – our cultural strategy
  • Access to high-quality professional development opportunities
  • Ongoing professional support to maintain quality teaching practice
  • Support with teacher registration and costs.
