We have a permanent teaching vacancy in our Māori bilingual unit - Te Whānau o Te Maro, commencing term 1, 2022, due to a kaiako winning a leadership promotion. We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic kaiako to add value to our kura.
This position is available for a fluent speaker of te reo Māori to work in a Level 1 or 2 Māori bilingual class. This person needs to be competent in te reo me ona tikanga and have a passion to work with akonga Māori. A good knowledge of Te Marautanga o Aotearoa and the ability to work collaboratively alongside 5 other kaiako Māori within the Māori unit is necessary.
