The successful candidate will be the acting principal for terms 1–3 of 2022 whilst our current principal is on sabbatical leave. As the acting principal of this amazing area school of 260 students, you will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated, successful and talented team of teachers; work alongside wonderful, supportive and aspirational students, whānau and church whilst successfully progressing the school's strategic direction.

To this end, we are seeking someone who loves the Lord, has excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate well to a wide range of people; someone who is a team player, has a good sense of humour, possesses a good understanding of the beautiful mix of Christianity and te ao Māori, is teachable and able to continue the flow of this waka. A sound understanding of the NZ Curriculum is essential to ensure the success of all of our students.
This position starts term 1, of 2022 and ends at the end of term 3, 2022. It includes the high priority staff allowance; possible travel assistance may also apply.
A strong alignment with our school’s unique special Christian character is essential.
