Bilingual teaching position, commencing term 1, 2022.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative bilingual teacher to join our Rotorua Intermediate whare. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing students with a kaupapa Māori learning environment. Within the learning environment will be a strong Māori kaupapa of respect and whānau values, with all students engaging in the learning of waiata, kapa haka and tikanga Māori as a natural part of the learning programme. Through a holistic approach students will develop confidence, explore their culture and identity, make life-long friendships and most of all learn to enjoy educational success as Maori.
The successful applicant will be NZ registered, display highly effective teaching strategies, have some knowledge of the Te Marautanga o Aotearoa and be committed to professional growth. If you have the ability to be adaptive, work collaboratively within a team, and have a positive attitude towards life and learning, then this is the job for you!
