What does happiness, sustainability, optimism, community, compassion, and a commitment to New Zealand, and the planet, have in common?
If you answered Green School New Zealand you may be one of the teachers who will help us change the paradigm of learning. We are recruiting a qualified experienced te reo/te Ao Māori educator, and presently have a position which is part-time (1 day a week) fixed-term (Jan 2022–Dec 2022).
The job role is to develop, plan, and teach a te Ao and te reo Māori, and kapa haka programme for the students of Green School New Zealand.
At Green School we are educating tomorrow’s environmental leaders. We embrace high-quality learning, within a growth mindset, that fosters a connection between what we learn, and how we learn, with care and compassion. We endeavour to find joy everyday within our community and regeneration within our connection to the environment and the land.
If you have experience and training as a te reo/te Ao Māori educator who wants to help students “thrive with purpose”, we look forward to speaking with you.
