Successful applicants will demonstrate they can confidently co-construct a learning community that is strengths based, where emotional and social skills are explicitly taught and each child feels they belong and are connected. Experience in trauma informed practice is essential as is evidence of meeting diverse needs, using authentic learning purpose, student voice and whānau inclusion. Strengths in Māori and Structured Literacy would be an advantage. This fixed-term position will be teaching a class in the middle team area of the school four days a week commencing 27 January 2022 and ceasing on 15 December 2022.
