We are seeking a passionate and committed kaiako te reo Māori to join our kura with abilities to teach at the junior school levels Y7–10, and NCEA Level 1–3. This is a full-time permanent position which will commence in January 2022. Units or middle management allowances are negotiable. This position is an exciting opportunity to teach at one of New Zealand’s leading girls’ schools. The successful applicant will be NZ registered and familiar with the NZ Curriculum and NCEA.

You will also be responsible for the pastoral care of an ako group of 20 students across all year levels.

The successful applicant will also be offered a fixed-term COL (community of learning) in-school role with responsibility for cultural responsivity.  This includes an allowance of $8,000 pa and 2 hours’ time allowance per week.

Applicants must demonstrate support for the special character of the school as a condition of appointment and be willing to be involved in our extensive co-curricular programme.
