He tono tēnei mo tētahi kaiako e mātatau ana i te reo, ki te whakaako i ngā mahi o te reo Māori me ngā Tikanga Māori, mai i ngā Tau 9–13. Ka tirohia ngā wheako whaiaro o te kaitono inā hoki, he kaitiaki hoki hei manaaki i ngā ākonga o Ngā Tūmanako o Kahurangi. 

Due to roll growth, we seek a committed and passionate teacher to further the development of te reo Māori and Tikanga Māori in our Ngā Tūmanako o Kahurangi Whānau unit. Applicants must have a high level of proficiency in te reo Māori. Experience in teaching NCEA, and skills in teaching Māori performing arts would be advantageous. 

The skills and dedication to actively engage with a diverse and enthusiastic team of staff and students underpins this role. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to our ‘Te Mauri o te Wahine’ pastoral programme, and will be expected to take on leadership responsibilities within Ngā Tūmanako o Kahurangi Whānau. A management unit is attached to this role to reflect this. The exact nature of these responsibilities will be negotiated with the successful candidate.

This position is suitable for new teachers.
