Wairarapa College is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated part-time, fixed-term social studies teacher who is student-focused on engagement and achievement. A willingness to contribute to our rich co-curricular life is essential. The ability to teach across all year levels is an advantage. Please state any supporting subjects you may have.

A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, culturally responsive practice, and te ao Māori is vital. We are looking for a teacher who is keen on developing curriculum with local and relevant content while integrating student interest, embracing cross curricular teaching and effective use of digital technology with the curriculum.

This is an exciting opportunity to teach at Wairarapa’s largest secondary school.  

Start date 18 October 2021.
