Marlborough Girls' College are looking for a qualified and experienced school psychologist or counsellor to join our kura.
This is a permanent full time position starting in January 2022.

The successful candidate will:
Have a passion for empowering and supporting rangatahi and preparing them for their future
Have student agency and success firmly at the heart of their practice, and a passion for supporting girls’ learning and success
Be experienced in counselling both adolescents and adults, empowering them to make their own decisions
Offer ongoing training and support for pastoral roles such as whānau teachers and deans
Provide professional, effective, empathetic ongoing support for both students and staff as required
Have a growth mindset and willingness to contribute to our team.
A commitment to the college’s ongoing development of wellbeing and embedding relational practice is required.
Applicants must be conversant with the New Zealand Curriculum and a New Zealand registered teacher or qualified psychologist. MGC is a member of the Piritahi Kahui Ako and is committed to developing culturally, relationally responsive pedagogies.
