Having a deep understanding of Te Ao Māori and a commitment to developing te reo Māori with an openness to work in kura kaupapa Māori and bilingual units would be highly advantageous for the right applicants.
Applicants will be NZ registered teachers, with current practising certificates, who have excellent knowledge of the NZ Curriculum and recent experience in supporting diverse learners in inclusive environments. Ability to work with other professionals collaboratively through the learning support delivery model is essential.
The successful candidate must hold a degree and have confirmation that they meet the entry requirements to enrol in Massey’s Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching. A full driver licence and use of your own car is required.
