Applications are invited for the part-time SENCO position at our junior campus (Y7–8) commencing term 1, 2022. The position will be 0.7 FTTE permanent and 0.1 FTTE fixed-term for 2022 (total of 20 hours per week). Additional hours as a classroom release teacher available if desired.

We are looking for a SENCO to work with a range of students with identified learning needs within the junior campus of our college, including some ORS students. Communicating actively with families, developing partnerships with external agencies and working with teachers and teacher aides to adapt all areas of the curriculum are key features of the position.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of diverse learning needs, ability to work collaboratively and actively participate in bi-cultural Aotearoa/New Zealand.

Includes 1PMU.
