An opportunity has arisen in our Y7–13 kura for a motivated and qualified assistant head of learning area – health and physical education. The appointee will be expected to provide leadership and guidance for the health and physical education curriculum.

The appointee will be a motivated teacher and an aspiring leader, willing to collaborate with other teachers across curriculum areas to increase the levels of student achievement in our school. The ability to teach all year levels is an advantage.   

A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, culturally responsive practice, and Te Ao Māori is vital. We are looking for a teacher who is keen on developing curriculum with local and relevant content while integrating student interest, embracing cross curricular teaching and effective use of digital technology within the curriculum.    

A school house may be available.
