Our current deputy principal has been promoted and we now seek a creative, highly collaborative leader to support the needs, aspirations and kaupapa of our intermediate school. We aspire to be an Apple Distinguished School.
We are seeking an experienced, innovative and collaborative leader who has the ability to form strong relationships across the school and its wider community.
The following skills and attributes will be essential; you will be:
Understanding of the needs of our predominantly Māori (Ngati Whakaue) students and whānau
Loyal, hard working and able to integrate seamlessly into the existing leadership structure
Be responsible for school wide curriculum, reporting and pastoral care.
Be passionate about teaching and learning
Able to use data to inform practice
Adaptable, flexible and highly organised
Strongly inclusive, and culturally responsive
Kind, with a sense of humour.
