About Waipawa Kindergarten
We are a rural kindergarten in Waipawa, Central Hawkes Bay with a licence of 40 children
Our philosophy is one of respect and authenticity that focuses on relationships with all akonga, whānau, community and their cultures, in a nurturing, sustainable and peaceful environment
The Waipawa teaching team are innovative, forward thinking and relationship based kaiako who are focused on positive individual outcomes for all akonga
Our curriculum is developed in consultation with whānau and reflects Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the kindergartens local history.
To be considered you need to:
Have a philosophy that fits with our team and kindergarten
Have a current practicing certificate (full or provisional)
Have a Dip Tch in early childhood education (minimum)
Have a current first aid certificate
Be current with regard to early childhood education theory and practice
Be confident in using technology and be able to competently use Microsoft Suite and Story Park
Have a proven working knowledge of government legislation and regulations.
