About the role

On behalf of their community and whānau, Te Kura Tuatahi ō Kaiapoi - Kaiapoi Borough School’s Board of Trustees is seeking a new leader for their whānau, school and community. The community has shared what kind of leader their school, north of Christchurch, needs to take them into the future. 

With a commitment to and understanding of te Tiriti o Waitangi, we are seeking a bi-culturally confident and competent leader who is committed to staff and student well-being and positive behaviour practices.

About the school

Established in 1873, Te Kura Tuatahi ō Kaiapoi - Kaiapoi Borough School, is a Y0–8 primary school with 380 students, based 20 kms north of Christchurch.  We are a community focused school, with a mission to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment, partnering with whānau to develop lifelong learners. Core values of innovation, community, integrity and respect are an integral part of who we are and how we do things. We have wonderful students and families, a great staff and strong links with the local community.
