Te Kura a Rohe o Whaingaroa is a coeducational school catering for over 570 Y1–13 students. We celebrate education in a bicultural environment, sustained by our strong values; Poutama; Whanaungatanga; Manaakitanga; and Kaitiakitanga.

Our school vision 'Mana Rangatahi / Empowering Young People' is at the centre of a local curriculum that prioritises learner wellbeing and 'Positive Behaviour For Learning' strategies to enhance the delivery of all core subjects. We seek an experienced, innovative and collaborative NZ registered teacher who is enthusiastic and empathetic to the needs of our tamariki and their whānau. In addition to the core subjects, it would be advantageous to have experience with Play-Based Learning, Structured Literacy, Write that Essay and te reo Māori.

This is a permanent full-time position that starts in term 1, 2022.
