Te Kura a Rohe o Whaingaroa is a coeducational school catering for over 570 Y1–13 students. We celebrate education in a bicultural environment, sustained by our strong values; Poutama; Whanaungatanga; Manaakitanga; and Kaitiakitanga.

Our school vision 'Mana Rangatahi / Empowering Young People' is at the centre of a local curriculum that prioritises learner wellbeing and 'Positive Behaviour For Learning' strategies to enhance the delivery of all core subjects. Due to our current kaiako moving to Christchurch, we seek an experienced, innovative and collaborative NZ registered kaiako who is a confident speaker of te reo Māori and using Te Marautanga o Aotearoa. Applicants need to be enthusiastic and empathetic to the needs of our tamariki and their whānau.

This is a permanent full-time position that begins term 1, 2022.
