Are you passionate about young people having an excellent education in the importance of food and nutrition for our wellbeing? Would you relish the opportunity to teach in an innovative and collaborative environment, with motivated students?

We require a knowledgeable and inspiring teacher, experienced with NCEA, to teach foods and nutrition Y7–13. At Rangi Ruru, the foods and nutrition curriculum sits with the foods, health and physical education learning area. The ideal candidate would fit seamlessly into this learning area, principally teaching foods but with an important emphasis on nutrition. It would be an advantage to be able to teach across foods, nutrition and health.

This is a permanent, full-time teaching position, which will commence January 2022.

This role comes with an MU and a time allowance for the role of head of subject, foods and nutrition.
