We are a mixed age community based early learning service, which means that our tamariki are all in the same learning space for the majority of the day. We are licensed for 32 tamariki, including up to 9 under two year old's.  Our tamariki learn alongside and with each other in a child-led, play-based, well-resourced learning environment.

Our centre prides itself in being a warm and inviting space where relationships and community are the foundation of our practice. We are passionate about creating spaces that are well thought out, to enrich the learning interests and needs of our tamariki.

  • Being a motivated, enthusiastic kaiako, who is able to put current theory into practice

  • Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Te Whāriki
  • Committed to te reo Māori me ona tikanga, te tiriti o Waitangi and te ao Māori
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge in relation the localised curriculum, assessment and evaluation 
  • Be open and willing to change that enables us to continue providing high-quality early education to all tamariki who attend our services
  • Work within a diverse learning community, where we display our centre values of respect and inclusion  
  • ECE qualified and hold current certification and a current first aid certificate
  • Have a sense of fun and get dirty.
