Rangitoto College is a high performing co-educational secondary school located on the North Shore of Auckland. You will be part of a large performing arts faculty which prides itself on it’s academic and co-curricular successes, as well as on departmental collegiality.  

The successful applicant will be able to teach music at all secondary levels, including NCEA and scholarship music. We are looking for an expert in the areas of jazz and rock music who can lead a team in delivering a highly successful existing programme.

Please state all relevant experiences in those areas in your application, including music technology. Additional teaching experience in other performing arts subjects or subjects outside of the performing arts is beneficial. 

All performing arts teachers are expected to take a significant role as leaders of the co-curricular life of the school. 

This full-time permanent role starts in term 1, 2022.
