We seek two kaiako to lead our team, teaching in our Y1 to 8, Level 2 Bilingual, Māori Medium education facility based at Omaka Marae. Te Pā Wānanga is a satellite class of Renwick School, Blenheim, established in partnership with Omaka Marae. We have a growing roll of 45+ tamariki in a newly built complex, with two more classrooms to be built in 2021.
This is a unique career opportunity for two innovative and visionary kaiako who are competent in Te Reo, knowledgeable in Tikanga Māori, have evidence of recent successful teaching in Māori Medium and the experience to be an effective kaiako for our tamariki working with Te Marautanga o Aotearoa National Curriculum.
We seek applicants who are dedicated to providing excellent learning opportunities for our tamariki.
Te Pā Wānanga is investigating options and requirements towards becoming a stand alone entity. This is something that has been part of the initial establishment agreement with Renwick School and we are excited about this progression. These current kaiako vacancies are a wonderful professional opportunity to be key players in this development.
Assistance with removal expenses may apply.
If you are a team player, have strong interpersonal skills and are committed to quality teaching and learning we welcome your application.
