Do you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people and working in collaboration with a like-minded team?

Parkside School is looking for two occupational therapists to join our specialist team. These positions are permanent full-time Monday to Friday. The position would suit an occupational therapist who wants to make a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs, whilst having fun in doing so.

The position involves working within a transdisciplinary team to provide occupational therapy services, to students aged 5 to 21 years who have special education needs. You will work across our Base School, Specialist Hubs and our community based centre for post 18 year olds.

Our ideal candidates will:

  • Have an ability to establish effective relationships with children, family/whānau, educators and other professionals
  • Have a passion for making a difference
  • Be able to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Have experience working in a school setting and/or with children (desirable)
  • Be a registered occupational therapist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Have a drivers licence.
