We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and passionate person to take on the role of deputy principal at St Joseph’s School, Nelson. We seek someone who will demonstrate an open, sensitive and positive manner to enable positive outcomes for all students and staff. The successful applicant will lead the school’s Literacy curriculum and provide support to staff in all other curriculum areas. They will be willing to learn te reo Māori and take part in our growing bicultural environment. It is essential the applicant is able to maintain programmes and activities that reflect the special character of our school and is able to assist in planning and organising courses and programmes to ensure that they reflect the special character of the school.

This is a position with a 0.6 teaching component attached to the role.
