Scots College junior school (JS) is seeking a high-quality educational leader to cover the assistant principal’s position (0.8 FTE) commencing January 2022 for 3 school terms. This is to cover for a period of parental leave. The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience, and proven curriculum leadership preferably with experience in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP).

Within this role, there is a small teaching component to release syndicate deans who support the pastoral nature of the JS. The AP also teaches within the learning support department and has responsibility for oversight of this area in the JS. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with the syndicate deans and principal in the daily organisation of the JS along with curriculum, reporting, assessment, and future sustainability.
