We are seeking an permanent teacher to join our team. You will be an enthusiastic team player who is competent and reflective. An understanding of the NZ Curriculum is essential - we are looking for a quality classroom teacher who provides agency for students. We are looking for someone strong in forming and maintaining effective working relationships with students, whānau and colleagues. A sense of fun is essential! The successful applicant will need to be prepared to work in collaborative learning environments. Our team work in a supportive manner and we have a strong focus on staff wellbeing at our school.
Strengths/interests in any of the following areas are desirable (but not essential): te reo and tikanga Māori; health/PE; digital technologies; play/project based learning.
We have flexibility in the year level to be taught across Y1–6. Please state your preferred year level in your application. Depending on the strengths and experience of the successful candidate, there may be an opportunity to negotiate a fixed-term management unit for curriculum leadership.
