Developing Mathematical Inquiry Communities is a research-informed professional learning and development approach. We are now seeking to appoint a dynamic facilitator to join our mentor team based in Auckland on a full-time, fixed-term appointment, 24-Jan-2022 through to 23 Jan 2023.

You will work with teachers during mathematics lessons in a range of South Auckland schools. Supporting them to develop their mathematics teaching in an ambitious, culturally sustaining way. You will also take the lead in professional development meetings.

To do this well, you will have the following:

  • A relevant teaching qualification
  • Recent teaching experience in Aotearoa New Zealand
  • Some experience and understanding of Developing Mathematical Inquiry Communities
  • Evidence of application of best-practice in mathematics teaching in your pedagogy

You will be knowledgeable about Pasifika and other diverse cultures and will enjoy working across a diverse range of schools.
