We are seeking an existing deputy principal, a senior leader or someone who is ready to take the next step in their leadership development. We seek someone who will demonstrate an open, sensitive and positive manner, to enable positive outcomes for all students. They will have had experience in working with students with a variety of learning needs. The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting the school's vision of ‘successful learners in an engaging, inclusive environment’. They will also lead the school’s curriculum, professional learning and development, and will oversee the appraisal of all teaching staff. They will be willing to learn te reo Maaori and take part in our growing bicultural environment. It is essential the applicant has the ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with our staff, BOT, mana whenua, and our lovely community.

This is a released position with a 0.3 teaching component tagged to it.

Visits to the school are encouraged and all applicants must be NZ registered teachers.
