Our Institute of Education programmes cover the spectrum of Graduate and Postgraduate professional education pathways in Education. We are now seeking to appoint a professional clinician to support the design, development and delivery of early childhood/early years Teacher Education Programmes in Te Kura o Te Mātauranga/Institute of Education. This role will foster integration of practicum and coursework, deliver exemplary ITE programmes and work to further extend our partnerships with the early childhood sector.
For appointment to the professional clinician role, you will have a relevant postgraduate degree and/or relevant experience in leadership, research and sector partnership in early childhood/early years education. You will have demonstrated competence in working in the Teacher Education field and have the ability to work effectively with Māori and facilitate teacher education programmes consistent with Māori aspirations and expectations. You will be able to provide evidence of contemporary knowledge and skills of best practice in early childhood/early years education and teacher education.
