Hanmer Springs School, nestled in the alpine village of Hanmer Springs in North Canterbury is seeking a fixed-term principal, effectively immediately, whilst the school recruits for a permanent principal appointee.
Hanmer Springs School is a U2, decile 9 school with a role of 92 students and a permanent teaching staff of 4 teachers. The Board of Trustees has invested significantly in providing teaching support and teacher aide hours to students whose needs require additional learning support.
The 2021-23 strategic plan was developed with significant consultation from our school community, ensuring a strong, robust and transparent plan was created to lead our school over the next 3 years.
