We are looking for a qualified teacher to join our close-knit preschool teaching team, working within a calm, welcoming and respectful environment. Our Tui Classroom is a small group of just 12 children aged approximately 4–5 years, with a teaching team of 2. Working alongside an experienced, passionate and supportive colleague, you will have ample opportunity to learn and grow your own teaching practice within a very high quality environment.

Design learning based on curriculum and pedagogical knowledge, assessment information and an understanding of each learner’s strength and needs
Offer experiences that support the children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development
Ensure learners receive ongoing feedback and assessment information and support them to use this information to guide further learning.
We base our philosophy upon te Tiriti o Waitangi; the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Whāriki; as well as the influence of Reggio Emilia.
Inside the historic Mill Hill House in Hobsonville Point lives Bear Park’s newest centre. The beautiful waterfront property, with amazing sea views and an acre of park-like grounds, has been re-designed as a purpose-built facility to serve the growing number of families in the area.
