At The Fire Station Early learning centre we believe children should have the freedom to play and grow at their own pace alongside kaiako who are genuine, passionate, energetic and equipped with a good sense of humour.

We have a wonderful opportunity for an over 3's teacher to join our team working 8am–2.30pm 5 days per week.

We offer a great benefits package including:

  • Competitive hourly rate
  • Discounted childcare
  • Paid monthly staff meetings
  • Weekly non-contact time
  • Paid first aid course
  • Paid teacher registration.

We are passionate about our staff, holding the belief that they are our best asset and therefore provide a supportive and collaborative environment empowering you to make decisions and have a proud sense of ownership over our successes. We are NZ family owned and operated and our teachers are valued as if they are a part of our extended whānau.

If you hold an NZ ECE qualification Level 7, or a qualification assessed by NZQA as equivalent to an NZ ECE Level 7 qualification and you are looking for a great place to work then we would love to hear from you.
