We are a purpose-built, privately owned centre located in the rural Southland township of Lumsden. We are licensed for 33 children. We operate for 50 weeks of the year and are open from 9am until 3pm, 5 days a week. Our kaiako start their day at 8.45am and finish at 3pm. This can help kaiako to balance their work and family life.

We are looking for a qualified and registered kaiako to join our team and this is a full-time position. New graduates and third-year student also welcome.

We have a very professional team and we respect, love and care for each other. We are very open-minded and wish to have people join in and bring more ideas to us. We use distributed leadership model in our centre and we believe each teacher need to have opportunities to upskill themselves.

We offer one hour per learning story and you can choose the PLD you wish to attend, your time and petrol will be covered by Riverstones as well. Each week, you will also be paid to work toward your registration outside the operational hours.
