We welcome your application for a fixed-term, full-time new entrant classroom teacher position. This is a fixed-term position in terms 3–4 of 2021 with our next class predicted to start in the middle of term 3 (date to be confirmed).

We are looking for a teacher who will enable our newest Omanu Kids to be learners with aroha and mana. This person will be an educator of excellence who has a passion for both learning and life, has in-depth knowledge of the NZ Curriculum, empowers children to own their learning through authentic learning contexts, can meet the unique needs of all learners and values the power of collaboration.

In your application, please share with us what great teaching and learning in your new entrant class here at Omanu School will look, sound and feel like for your tamariki, parents and colleagues if you were to be the successful candidate. Share with us a clear picture of who you are and your pedagogical ‘why’ that underpins the learning opportunities you design for tamariki.

You can get a taste of what OS is all about via our website, or Facebook page and OS App.

People applying must be available to teach full-time from mid term 3 2021 and a NZ registered teacher.
