Seeking a strong and inspiring leader for our multi-cultural Catholic school, a decile 10 school with 142 students based in beautiful Queenstown. We are looking for an inspirational principal to further our excellent reputation alongside our highly experienced staff and engaged community.
Founded by the Dominican Sisters in Queenstown in 1883, St Joseph’s is a state integrated school with a strong Catholic character. Often cited as a small school with a big heart we aim to create confident learners who, like Jesus, make a positive difference.
This is a tagged position commencing at the beginning of term 1, 2022 although an earlier start date is negotiable.
A willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction, appropriate to the special character of the school, is a condition of employment.
Additionally, the applicant needs to be fully committed to Te Ao Māori, be an authentic Te Tiriti partner and have sensitivity to all cultures.
