Hawkes Bay Hospital Paediatric Ward has an exciting vacancy for a hospital play specialist.
We are looking for an experienced registered teacher to join our small and supportive team of 4 (3FTE) play specialists based on the children’s ward.
We are looking for someone who is confident in communicating with children, whānau and the wider teams and prepared to train to become a registered play specialist. You will become an essential part of the medical team on the Paediatric ward, helping to assess the needs of our patients and their families. This includes support and preparation for medical procedures.
