Our school is located at the base of our Tupuna Maunga Te Pane o Mataoho, which looks over the harbour Te Manukanuka o Hoturoa. This area is rich in the histories of Te Waiohua and Tainui waka, which makes it a special place to work and live.
We pride ourselves on being a family-like school where everyone has a sense of belonging. Our school has a strong focus on our core values of whanaungatanga, manaakitanga, kaitiakitanga and kotahitanga. These values are evident in everything we do. We have a strong place-based curriculum that honours Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
We seek effective teachers, with culturally responsive practices who can inspire and engage our children from diverse backgrounds, and connect with their whānau, in authentic learning-focused partnerships.
Do you have the ability to make a positive impact on student engagement and achievement? Would you like to work in an awesome collaborative school with an innovative connected local curriculum?
Our happy, well-resourced school has an incredibly supportive community that works together in partnership to create the best learning environment for our students. Come and have a look for yourself, we welcome visits, or check out our Facebook page.
We know you'll love working in our vibrant, caring school that focuses on teacher wellbeing and manaakitanga. We also provide opportunities for leadership development and growth.
