Have you had experience working with children with special needs? Are you a registered ECE teacher (provisional or full) who prides yourself on your communication skills? Do you want to work with a passionate team, who are enthusiastic about facilitating children's learning?

If your answer is yes to these questions, we've got the perfect role for you at Manukau Institute of Technology working at our Children's Education centre for children from 2–5 years of age.    

We are looking for someone who is committed to fulfilling children's aspirations and promoting children's critical thinking to join our team. You will bring a mature attitude, and experience and confidence working with children with special needs. You will be a positive team player with plenty of initiative and experience of working with diverse needs and values.  

The successful applicant will have the following; a good command of English both verbally and in writing, a Degree or Diploma of Teaching in early childhood education, an in depth understanding of Reggio Emilia Philosophy and RIE programme and a strong commitment to Te Whäriki curriculum.
