A wonderful opportunity to be part of a small, highly collegial team in term 3 has arisen within our thriving school for a highly motivated teacher! Our multicultural environment celebrates personal and whānau identity and our school values are central to all that we do. Just like our students, our team is diverse, supportive, open-minded and always keen to learn and grow.
Our class sizes are small and we offer a specifically exciting collaborative numeracy programme (DMIC) as part of our enriched local curriculum. We believe in and strive to deliver purposeful teaching within a caring, inclusive learning environment. This is underpinned by a culturally responsive enriched local curriculum, collaborative practices and strong leadership from our entire team.
We are looking for teachers who value and build strong learning relationships with students and whānau, are passionate about engaging, supporting and extending all learners. If you are a dynamic teacher with a strength in Te Reo me ona Tikanga Māori who would like to join our team starting in Term 3, 2021 we would like to hear from you.
Our students are looking for a teacher who is willing to listen to what they have to say and who gives them time to think about stuff. They want a person who understands that they do not like to sit around all day and will enjoy taking them out for a game. A teacher who is calm, loves to laugh, and who will join us in celebrating our culture. Our teacher will know we all think differently and help us to reach our full potential.
