Nestled below the Coromandel ranges and minutes away from beautiful Ōpoutere, Onemana and Whangamatā beaches, lies wonderful Ōpoutere School. Our six teacher school with over 126 students has developed a responsive curriculum that values Personalised Learning, Sustainability, and a unique Adventure Learning programme that utilises our beautiful surrounding environment. Due to new entrant roll growth, Ōpoutere School (Full Primary) has a fixed-term new entrant classroom teacher position for terms 3 and 4, 2021. This has the potential to become a permanent position in 2022.
If you are passionate about tamariki, outdoor education and learning through play we want to hear from you. Applicants need to show strengths in Te Whāriki and NZ Curriculum, relational and cultural pedagogy, and experience in a junior setting. Experienced ECE teachers may apply.
