An opportunity has become available in our newly re-structured Te Puna Mātauranga (Learning Support Centre) for a teacher who is passionate about  students  achieving success in their learning.

We are seeking someone with experience in a learning support role, with the ability to build staff capability to ensure students’ needs are being met in the classroom. A current knowledge of theory and practical strategies to support students with specific learning disabilities will be an advantage.

The successful applicant will be expected to manage the IEP process and engage with whanau and wider community organisations.

Strong communication skills, culturally responsive practice and the ability to work effectively in a team is essential.

A management unit could be available for the right applicant.
