 We are searching for a responsive, highly motivated, professional kaiako, who shows initiative, flexibility and be able to adapt to the evolving needs of our tamariki, whānau and team. 

Our successful and inspiring kaiako will possess the following qualities:

  • Hold an ECE teacher's certification and full registration with the Teaching Council of NZ
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to form strong relationships with kaiako, tamariki and whānau
  • Have a strong understanding of our curriculum – Te Whāriki
  • Be committed to ongoing personal and professional development.

We offer paid hours of attendance for of PLD and course costs. We offer extended sick leave allowances. Free childcare if applicable.

We offer a supportive mentor and guidance programme as well as a supportive professional growth cycle for fully certified kaiako.

We are a small intimate service in Otaki, we have a license of 38 tamariki. Come check us out!

This is a full-time position. We close over the Christmas Holidays for two weeks.
