We are on the hunt for a qualified kaiako that is passionate about working with U2s. This role is for somebody that has experience working with U2s and is confident to occasionally work in a nursery by themselves with up to 5 babies. As our centre is boutique this enables our team to work closely and have active support and communication with one another. Even though this role is advertised as an independent nursery kaiako, you will always have fellow Kaiako close to tautoko when needed.

What are we looking for?

  • An ECE qualified and registered teacher
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to support both children and parents
  • A passion for rituals and responding intentionally to children’s cues and play
  • An ability to work collaboratively and supportively with a team
  • Alignment with our values: safe, loved and learning
  • Great time management
  • Ability to make learning fun!

Our team is supportive, friendly and experienced. We would love to meet you, introduce you to our team, and chat with you about this exciting role!
