Helensville Primary School was established in 1877 on land gifted for education by Ngāti Whātua. We are a well established , community focussed primary school in Helensville which is a rural township 45 kms north west of Auckland.

The school has a semi rural setting with a great team of enthusiastic staff and even more enthusiastic students. The interaction between the school and community is obvious, intrinsic and is highly valued by all concerned.

We are looking for someone who can make those vital connections with students, staff, parents, local Iwi and the wider community. We especially want a principal who can be the leader of learning in the school for all students including those with individual learning needs.

If you have passion and experience as a Principal or senior leader in your current school and you can embrace Te Ao Māori for all learners, you are welcome to get in touch for further information and application details.
