We are seeking that special someone who can engage and teach a variety of classes in mathematics, science, Physical Education; mostly at junior (Y7 to 10) level. We are flexible and may be able to fit the spread of teaching to suit your interests. Strong classroom practices are the most essential element we are looking for and we're prepared to be creative in order to appoint the right person.

Our college environment means there are some exciting opportunities, and further guidance would be given to any teacher wishing to develop their teaching skills in these and other subject areas in the future.

If you are a motivated teacher, with innovative ideas and the ability to build strong teaching/learning relationships with students, then we would be very interested in receiving your application.

We are a small, collegial secondary school, situated in South Canterbury – this means friendly staff and students, and weekend access to the beautiful lakes and mountains of the Mackenzie country. Being just 20 minutes north of Timaru leaves you the choice of rural or urban living.  There may be school housing available.

Applicants must be New Zealand certificated and hold Education Council registration.
