Normandale School is a small community school nestled in the Western Hills of Lower Hutt. We have a collaborative staff who enjoy working and having fun together. We are starting our PB4L journey and our focus this year is on our Local Curriculum. 

Due to roll growth in our new entrant area we are able to offer a fixed-term extra class in Y0 and 1. This position is for terms 3–4, 26 July to 16 December, 2021. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Junior school teacher to teach our tamariki. The successful applicant will be New Zealand registered and will want to be part of a collaborative team dedicated to nurturing our students as they start their school journey. You will be joining a well-established Junior programme with a strong, positive transition focus. The successful applicant will have a strong knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum. Strengths in te reo and tikanga Māaori are desirable.
