  • A certified, passionate team leader for our 2 to 5-year-old learning environment
  • Strong understanding of Te Whāriki and learning assessment
  • Values and understands the importance of play-based learning and relationships with teachers, parents, whānau and tamariki
  • Sees themselves as a life long learner
  • Shares our philosophy and embraces our unique arts approach.
  • Understands the process of internal evaluation as at Creative Cubs we strive for on-going growth and learning.

Our philosophy places importance on relationships, recognising each child as a unique individual and learning through creativity and wonder. Our arts approach plays a significant role in empowering children through creativity as we value the benefits it offers such as confidence, risk taking, resilience, self-regulation, thinking outside of the box, open-mindedness, curiosity and a love for learning.

The is a permanent full time position of 37 hours a week (a half day every week!)
