Our college is a Y9–13 school in Auckland serving a largely Pacific Island and Māori population. Our students’ families are in many cases first or second-generation New Zealanders who moved here for a better life and opportunities for their children, and this is reflected in the family aspirations.

As a school, we are committed to increasing the number of students who go on to degree-level study and we are currently looking for excellent teacher librarian who can continue, and build on, our students’ successes.

You will be responsible for contributing to the academic achievement and engagement of all of our students. A teacher librarian at our college supports and implements the vision of the college by advocating and building effective information services and literacy programmes which contribute to the development of successful and aspirational students. Curriculum knowledge and pedagogy is combined with library and information management knowledge and skills to achieve this.

There will be some teaching attached to this role.
